Approval Copies

A convenient and inexpensive way of choosing your next play. A single copy of any number of our plays can be hired for up to 4 weeks, for selection purposes ONLY, for 50p per copy + postage at the rates detailed below.

Play Scripts

Sketches

Dependent on the size of the collection of sketches. Please see the catalogue entry for each compilation.

Code A1 = £2.50; B1 = £2.75; A3 = £5.00; B3 = £5.25.

One Act Plays

Code A1 = £2.50 + p+p; Code B1 = £2.75 + p+p.

Full Length Plays

Codes A2 and A3: £5.00 + p+p. Codes B2 and B3: £5.25 + p+p.

Performing Fees

Short Pieces

Code AS = £7.00 per performance. Code BS = £8.00 per performance.

One Act Plays

Code A1 = £18.00 per performance. Code B1 = £20.00 per performance.

Two Act Plays

Code A2 = £36.00 per performance. Code B2 = £40.00 per performance.

Three Act (and over) Plays

Code A3 = £50.00 per performance. Code B3 = £55.00 per performance.

Some performing fees are subject to VAT at 20%. Please apply for performing fees for music. Readings of plays (eg: where the scripts are read to an audience with no attempt to act the play) qualify for a 50% discount on the above fees.

No discounts are given for performances in aid of charity. NB: These rates do NOT apply to Anchorage Press Inc. Prices are subject to change without notice.

UK Postage Rates

Please apply for overseas postage rates, quoting whether you would like copies sent via air mail or surface mail.

One Act Plays and Small Compilations of Sketches:

First Class: 70p for the first copy + 20p per copy thereafter; Second Class: 60p for the first copy + 20p per copy thereafter. No second-class postage charged on orders over £17.00

Full Length Plays and Large Compilations of Sketches:

First Class: 90p for the first copy + 30p per copy thereafter. Second Class: 80p for the first copy + 30p per copy thereafter No second class postage charged on orders over £25.00.
